As a VA Enrollment Specialist, you will be the primary liaison between our organization, clients, and third-party payers, managing communications and processes related to credentialing applications and requests. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely credentialing operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, self-motivated, and skilled at solving problems creatively and analytically while thriving in dynamic environments. This position reports directly to the Director of Enrollments.

Role: VA Credentialing Specialist
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage credentialing and re-credentialing processes for home care providers, ensuring compliance with accrediting bodies and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the credentialing database, ensuring data integrity and providing exceptional customer information management
- Serve as a point of contact for customers, delivering timely updates on application statuses and addressing inquiries via email and phone communication
- Conduct thorough research to support the credentialing process, proactively identifying and resolving complex issues to ensure seamless operations
- Assist with additional administrative or operational tasks as assigned to support department goals
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, focused on resolving complex issues and de-escalating provider concerns
- Experience in credentialing processes is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work
- Proven ability to conduct thorough research and analyze information to resolve issues efficiently
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Initiative and problem-solving skills to proactively address challenges
- Proficiency in database management and maintaining accurate records
- Exceptional follow-up, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to keep providers informed and satisfied
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required
- Associate degree required in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or a related field (bachelor's degree preferred)
- Relevant experience in credentialing or healthcare operations may be considered in lieu of a degree
