Primary Responsibilities:
- Understands product/feature specifications to enhance user experience for the product on the digital channels
- Gathers user feedback to improve design decision and solve user roadblocks.
- Collaborates in agile manner with Product Owners, Product Managers, Design Lead and Developers to create concepts through research, design explorations, ideation, and user feedback validation.
- A ctively engages in ensuring, creating and maintaining consistency in interface/screen designs, wireframes, wire flows, task flow, storyboards, mockups, prototypes at every platform (desktop, mobile, kiosk, chatbots, etc.) through the use of design tools such as Figma, Sketch and Adobe creative suites
- Maintains style guides and design specifications of the product.
- Engages in conducting usability testing to validate designs and product ideas with data.
- Provides design specifications, interaction concepts, and prototypes to developers
- Provides inputs on improving user stories/acceptance criteria with emphasis on usability and design alongside with product owner and design manager.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Multimedia Graphics or any Design/Computer related courses.
- Must have at least 2-3 years of work experience in design thinking or related fields
- User centered design certification is preferred
- Proficient in using the latest tools for executing designs like Figma, Sketch, Invision, etc.
- Must be a problem solver, thinks big and explores divergent ideas/concept to inspire the team and bring new ideas to the table.
- Has a deep understanding of mobile-first, adaptive and responsive design
- Has attention to details and have a solid understanding of visual and interaction design.
- Has knowledge on user-centered design, usability and accessibility application, principles and methods.
- Can work on a defined/agile process and systemic design thinking.
- Must have a valid work visa or legal authorization to work in the Philippines
