Main Responsibilities

  • Multi-state sales and use tax compliance, general ledger account reconciliations, and product taxability analysis.
  • Communicate with internal and external auditors regarding sales/use/rental tax issues.
  • Prepare monthly reports for various state and local governmental taxing authorities.
  • Direct preparation of special projects or reports as assigned.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Four-year college degree in accounting, or similar/equivalent experience.
  • 2 or more years of experience working with multi-state sales and use tax.
  • Advanced level PC skills with knowledge of Windows and Microsoft software applications. Oracle and Vertex experience is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to perform tax technical research.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision under rigid time constraints, yet be a valuable team player.
  • Good analytical and organizational skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Honest and trustworthy, exhibiting sound business ethics.
