Occupational Summary: The primary responsibility of the Senior Recruiter role is to build and maintain a pipeline of qualified, diverse talent for an assigned department(s) and act as a talent expert and advisor for Hiring Managers.

Work Environment Summary:This position is required to work a flexible 40 - 45 hour workweek, Monday through Friday, in a Corporate office and/or remote environment. This position may require some travel locally (showrooms, seminars, etc.) or out of town (conferences, hiring events, etc.) to support recruitment activities. This position requires prolonged sitting and may require light lifting (job fair materials, etc.).

Talent Acquisition (70%): Recruits, interviews, and screens job candidates to fill active and forecasted job openings. Utilizes best-in-class sourcing and interview skills to meet recruitment goals with quality and diverse Associates for CITY Furniture. Acts as a brand ambassador by promoting open positions on social media and professionally represents CITY Furniture at internal/external hiring events. Understands and complies with company and government requirements related to recruiting, selection, and hiring. Is a subject matter expert on Talent Acquisition Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regularly improves SOPs. Actively uses the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to track and record all candidates. Maintains necessary documentation, metrics, and data requirements. Is trained and willing to hire for every position in their assigned sub-department (i.e. Corporate, TECH, Sales, Operations).

Team Support (10%): Supports with creation and execution of training and onboarding agendas for new Recruiters. Coaches, encourages/maintains positive team morale, and develops other Talent Acquisition Associates. Assists with creation and updates to interview forms, job postings, documents, etc. As a senior team member, leads by example (achieves/exceeds hiring goals, quality standards, teamwork, etc.). Willing to support all sub-departments with Talent Acquisition. 15% Professional Development - Maintains current knowledge of all department updates, policies, and standards. Represents both the HR&D department and department served in a professional and responsible manner. Obtains certifications and training related to job performance and department knowledge. Attends training sessions/workshops to obtain new knowledge and development as required. Is proactive in seeking non-required developmental opportunities to expand their knowledge and skillsets in recruiting and/or HR&D. Cross-trains in other Talent Acquisition sub-departments.

Other (5%): Utilizes the Suggestion System to implement suggestions that improve recruitment processes. Builds strong relationship with internal customers/hiring managers to proactively solve problems. Participates in Talent Acquisition meetings and serves as a back-up leader when the Manager is not available.
