Role: US Bookkeeper / Accountant

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and manage the general ledger by reconciling accounts and correcting discrepancies.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve variances promptly.
  • Record all income, expenses, and financial transactions in QuickBooks with precision.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and follow-up on overdue accounts while maintaining strong vendor and client relationships.
  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
  • Monitor expenses, identify variances, and recommend cost-saving measures.
  • Prepare financial reports for management review and assist with month-end and year-end closing.
  • Collaborate with accountants to prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time.
  • Utilize MS Excel and Google Sheets for reporting and analysis.
  • Respond to accounting-related phone calls and department emails in a professional and timely manner.


Requirements:

  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or Accounting Assistant.
  • Proven experience with USA, Australia, or offshore accounting practices is required.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Experience in payroll processing, bank reconciliation, billing, and tax preparation.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing time effectively.


**PERMANENT REMOTE (MUST HAVE OWN EQUIPMENT)**

**5-7 USD PER HOUR FIXED (Paid bi-weekly via Payoneer/Paypal)**

**20 or 40 HOURS PER WEEK (Weekends Off)**
