Urgent Hiring Billing Specialist

We are hiring a talented Billing Specialist to join our team in Davao City, Davao del Sur. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely billing of our clients. As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for processing invoices, managing accounts receivable, and providing excellent customer service to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

• Review delivered goods and services along with related documents (e.g., delivery tickets, prescriptions, medical records) for accuracy and completeness
• Log authorizations to ensure timely payments and minimize claim denials
• Process insurance changes quickly and secure updated authorizations as required
• Identify missing or incorrect documentation and update records or escalate as needed
• Request prescriptions and supporting documents promptly; follow up to ensure approval
• Handle denials through resubmission, appeals, or account adjustments in line with policy
  
  

What we're looking for

Minimum 6 months of experience in accounts receivable or prior authorization

Background in healthcare, insurance, or medical documentation environments

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers with a high degree of accuracy

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients

Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Thorough understanding of relevant industry regulations and best practices
