The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and passionate UI/UX Designer to join our team. Reporting to the CTO and working closely with product manager, developers, and stakeholders, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end design process, from research and wireframes through to final visual design and implementation support.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points.
  • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Design visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces, adhering to brand guidelines and design system standards.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure seamless handoff and accurate implementation.
  • Create and maintain design documentation, including style guides, design systems, and user personas.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and ensure design feasibility.
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback, data analysis, and usability testing results.
  • Advocate for user needs across the product lifecycle, using data and insights to guide decisions.
  • Stay current with UX/UI trends, best practices, and tools to continually raise the design quality bar.


Attributes:

  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design process, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs for web applications.
  • Experience creating responsive, mobile-first designs and working with design systems.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and interaction design patterns.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Basic understanding of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and capabilities/limitations.
  • Experience designing for accessibility (WCAG).
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working on SaaS products or in agile development environments.
