Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Truck or Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Proficient in the use of automotive diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and engine mechanics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the operations team.
- Commitment to safety and a desire to continuously improve your skills.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in trucks, forklifts, and other heavy equipment.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections to ensure the safety and reliability of our fleet.
- Collaborate with the operations team to coordinate repairs and minimise equipment downtime.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to protect yourself and your colleagues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to improve your skills and efficiency.
