We are looking for a Treasury Specialist to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Manages cash balances ensuring that all bank accounts are adequately funded to support daily operations by checking the daily cash position and by executing inter-account fund transfers.
• Updates daily bank statements report and daily cash flows report to properly classify each cash movement per bank account for local treasury analysis
• Reports weekly cash balances uploaded in SAP for the use of regional and central teams on their cash liquidity assessments
• Monitors the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of monitoring files (petty cash fund, security deposit, bank guarantee, credit card transactions, etc.)
• Execute foreign exchange trading with the bank ensuring that FX purchases and sales are valued reasonably.
• Coordinates with the partner banks for transaction verification and other bank-related requests
• Manages bank administrative requirements for bank account management and user management for local business needs
• Organizes, files and ensures that treasury-related documents are properly kept and safeguarded.
• Mobilizes the pick-up of checks for collection and updating a report on the summary of collections and pushing relevant stakeholders for the timely collection of receivables.
• Other Treasury activities as may be required

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
• Minimum of two years of treasury operations experience
• Well-equipped to use Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and Google Sheets (v-lookups, sum-ifs, pivot tables etc.)
• Knowledge of accounting software packages, high preference for SAP
• Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
• Effective planning, organizational, stress and time management skills
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
