Job Description

As a Trader you will be responsible for you will be integral to trading our In-play product for Football,Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball, and Ice Hockey. This, alongside a heavy emphasis towards customer management, will help drive margin within the team.

Reporting to the Trading Manager, you will be part of the Trading Team, who monitor real-time sports events and perform live trading for the sports mentioned above, ensuring prices remain accurate throughout.

What You Will Do

• Monitor real-time sports events and perform live trading
• Monitor and analyse the betting market to help highlight exposure points and reacting accordingly
• Identify and escalate any potential issues to relevant teams
• Communicate with various other departments to help ensure smooth trading of our product
• Help provide feedback with any testing that may need to be done in our trading environment
• Monitor bets that are coming through in real time and ensure customers are being accurately profiled
• React accordingly to known profiles of poor customers in a timely manner
  
  

Qualifications

• Passion and knowledge for the sports traded within Team Trading
• An understanding and knowledge of the betting industry, including its key policies, procedures,products and terms
• Mathematical background and highly numerate
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (in English)
• A strong understanding of pricing and trading of events in-play
• Flexible with working hours, including night shifts, public holidays and weekends to suit the business needs
• Ability to remain focused, deliver high quality work and meet deadlines even when under pressure
• Previous experience of working in a Trading Team and preferably on the sports mentioned above
