Role Overview
The Executive Assistant will be the CEO’s right hand – managing his calendar, inbox, and travel while staying on top of deadlines and tasks to free his time for strategic priorities. You will also help with office administration, coordinate events, and support team communication.
This is a diverse, hands-on role where your structure and organisation will directly enable the CEO’s effectiveness. Experience supporting founders in startups, along with a proactive mindset and the ability to anticipate needs, is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support
- Manage the CEO’s inbox, calendar, meetings, and travel.
- Track priorities, deadlines, and follow-ups to ensure nothing slips.
- Prepare briefing notes, presentations, and meeting materials.
Office Administration & Team Support
- Oversee general office operations, suppliers, and internal processes.
- Coordinate logistics, events, and internal communications.
- Maintain office systems and documentation.
- Support with basic finance tasks and liaising with the finance team.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Prior experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally supporting a founder or senior leader in a startup or high-growth company.
- Experience with events management and/or social media management is a plus, and if you’re interested in investor relations, we’re open to mentoring and training you in this area.
- Detail-oriented with strong execution and follow-through.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and problem-solving ability.
- Able to adapt quickly and work independently in a remote-first, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with productivity tools (Google Workspace, project management software, CRMs).
