Benefits Expert acts as the first point of contact for all benefits-related matters in Bayer Philippines legal entities. He/she will implement and follow procedures which will enable the employees to fully utilize their company and estate benefits. This person is also responsible for performing transactional tasks and general administration of standardized processes in the assigned legal entity ensuring all benefits administration is compliant with Philippine labor laws and regulations.

Digital Savvy - Intermediate to advanced working knowledge on Microsoft Office 365 (MS Forms, OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel)
Basic to intermediate working knowledge on Microsoft Power Platforms (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
Basic familiarity on low-code and no-code tools. Citing advantages and limitations of these tech is a plus.
Ability to come up with functional business requirements for digital solutions.
Citizen Developer - Fundamental understanding of RPA, AI. Can cite examples of RPA tools.
Leverage Data - Fundamental to intermediate understanding of data analytics.
Can cite examples of working with data tools (MS Excel, MS PowerBI etc.).
Fundamental working knowledge on process mining and task mining tools is a plus.

YOUR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Service Delivery:
- Manage HR cases related to Benefits process in accordance with country policies using various Bayer systems and tools.
- Administers various company and employee-initiated benefits programs such as flexben, bereavement, emergency assistance, group hospitalization, life and accident insurance plans, wellness programs, and government mandatory benefits and programs.
- Assists employees with health, life, wellness and other related benefit claims.
- Manages the enrollment, renewal, and distribution processes for all the employees insurances
- Conducts orientation to new hires and newly regularized employees to ensure that they are fully aware of their benefits.
- Verifies calculation of premium statements for all group insurance policies and maintains statistical data relative to premiums, claims and costs.
- Assists HR Head in obtaining statistics and information in renewal process of any health, life and accident plans that benefit both the company and the employees.
- Monitors and provide information regarding new government regulations and benefits trends.
- Works with insurance brokers and maintains good relationships with health and insurance providers.
- Ensures that company is on time with the payment of monthly employees’ contributions and loans remittances.
- Ensures on time submission of the finance related matters open items reconciliation for statutory contributions and loans
- Maintains organized management and monitoring of own and team’s deliverables.
- Drive achievement of KPI targets for timeliness, CSAT and quality.
- Perform ICS and process controls timely and in compliance with the control and audit requirements.
- Understand and report results of operations. Apply problem solving techniques to effectively identify gaps in the process and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Lead business continuity measures.
- Apply process and business knowledge to assess and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain robust business relationships with other HR groups or functions to collaboratively devise solutions for issues and improve processes.
- Perform activity and process reviews to ensure an optimized Benefits administration process.
- Use process knowledge to identify opportunities for process improvements and lead process improvement initiatives.
- Build process expertise and strong business knowledge.
- Create and maintain desktop procedure of process handled.
- Maintain and update Knowledge Based article.
- Graduate of any four-year course.
- At least 3-year HR experience in the area of Philippine Benefits Administration is a must.
- Has a good knowledge of HR systems and interfaces.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local legal regulations pertaining to employee benefits.
- Proven ability to coordinate and prioritize workload of multiple activities while maintaining high level of quality and customer service in a complex and fast paced environment.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and drive assignments to their completion.
- Is organized and comfortable in working, managing and making sense out of huge amount of data.
- Can easily adapt to various processing systems and tools.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and is a team player.
