Job Description

Job Objective

The Tollmill Production Associate is responsible for ensuring efficient toll mill production execution - from elevation, dosing, grinding, mixing, pelleting and bagging operations, by collaborating and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders of the toll mill business. He/She ensures that all stakeholders' activities, processes and outputs conform to the documented agreement.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

Planning & Production Execution:

• Coordinates with Toll Mill Supervisor in reviewing toll mill volume allocation for production planning.
• Ensures toll mill volumes are produced on time and according to customers' specifications.
• Actively helps in finding solutions for customer concerns and distribution complaints.
• Coordinates with the toll miller the sequence of raw materials to be elevated to minimize material run out based on Production line up.
• Submit reports to the Toll Mill Supervisor and update stock cards for the raw materials received during the shift.
• Coordinates with the toll miller regarding the type of product to be produced.
• Check/review the formulation and make necessary adjustments in coordination with NITR personnel.
• Ensures that all raw materials to be dosed are in accordance with the mixing guide provided by NITR.
• Close coordination with the toll miller to ensure that sequences of batching are being followed based on the production schedule.
• Checks all pelleting parameters and coordinates with the toller for necessary adjustment based on product formulation.
• Monitors and ensures the feeds being produced conforms with company standards in terms of quality such as pellet durability, color, size, and nutritional value
• Validates dosing report provided by toller per process order.
• Provides and ensures required reports are correct and timely generated which is essential for production documentation.
• Keeps historical and updated records of production/in-process results.
  
  

Process Order Management (ERP-SAP)

• Timely process orders transactions - Goods Receiving (GR), Goods Issuance (GI), Confirmation and Technical Completion.
  
  

Accountability

• Maintains the highest level of the product quality produced by the plant
• Maintains confidentiality in terms of product formulation whether commercial, customized or experimental feed.
  
  

Food Safety

• Complies with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company.
• Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.
  
  

Other Duties & Responsibilities

• Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc.
• Performs other related tasks as may be assigned by the Team Leader.
  
  

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

Education

• preferably BS degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics & Communication Engineering
  
  

Experience

• preferably with experience in Feed Milling Operation
  
  

Licenses

• preferably license in engineering
  
  

Other Requirements

• Knowledge of and familiarity of the different manufacturing processes and functionality of machines, equipment and its components.
• Planning, analytical, numerical, problem-solving skills
• Computer literate
• Knowledge in PLC
• Can work under pressure with minimum supervision
• Mobile (willing to be assigned anywhere in Visayas)
