Opportunity Overview
A Test Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software, hardware, or systems. The functions for this role are as follows but not limited to:
- Be responsible in the overview of sub assembly and assembly of electro-mechanical parts, test equipment programs, validation and verification, upgrade and/or repair.
- Closely work with other engineers and other divisions for process and quality improvements.
- Uses all digital and analog electronic test equipment and test systems to do system, assembly and PCBA failure analysis and debugging.
- May support new product transfer startup/set-up, and the improvement of the failure analysis process.
- Other responsibilities include asset utilization and participation on quality improvement initiatives.
- Closely work with Electro-mechanical assemblers and Test technicians for assembly quality and FCT.
- Remote support to other OPS site/regions

- A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering or equivalent courses.
- Must have high analytical skills with high sense of urgency.
- Capable of leading or interfacing with cross-functional teams across different levels of the organization.
- Solid software and hardware troubleshooting skills (e.g. C++, Visual Basic).
- Flexible and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in computer operation, MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Visio, etc), and familiarity with internet-based program navigation, with ability to generate and interpret computer data.
- Proficient in written and verbal English language
