Technical Sales Manager

Location: Pasay, Philippines
Working Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9AM-6PM


Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team in Pasay, Philippines. This role involves expanding the market and developing water/wastewater related EPC, BOT, and SES projects outside Luzon. The successful candidate must have strong communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and a demonstrated ability to execute strategies effectively.
 
Job Responsibilities:

1. Project Monitoring and Business Development:
   • Work closely with the BD Director in presenting projects to management.
   • Develop new relationships to grow business and help the company expand its market presence in Luzon.
   • Maintain existing business and generate more leads.
   • Think critically when planning to ensure project success.
2. Database Management:
   • Update the database of partners for EPC, BOT, and SES projects.
   • Gather and ensure all necessary information is in the database for easier access.
3. Competition Information:
   • Create and maintain a list of competitors.
   • Gather and update information about competitors in the database.
4. Project Pipeline Development:
   • Monitor and update the project pipeline.
   • Work closely with the BD Director to strategically select projects to follow.
   • Gather information on competition, budget, partners, etc.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
   • Prepare weekly reports and monthly reimbursements for the BD Director.
   • Compile documents from partners, clients, and consultants.

Qualifications and Requirements:
 
Education:

• Bachelor's degree or above (Chemical Engineering preferred but not required)

Experience:

• 5-8 years of experience in the water/wastewater treatment sector.
• At least 2 big successful water-related PPP or BOT projects and a small one, with involvement from the conceptual stage until contract signature and aftersales.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Fluent in speaking and writing English.
• Knowledgeable with the process of preparing solicited and unsolicited offers.
• Advantage if experienced in marketing new products and services to the market (e.g., Smart Solutions).
• Good network in the water/wastewater treatment sector.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
• Capable of working under minimal supervision and delivering high-quality outputs.
• Strong sense of ownership in deliverable preparation.
• Good team player.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Willing to accept frequent travel (when conditions allow).
• Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies.
• Focused and goal-oriented.
