Technical Project Manager (PMP, CISM, CISSP, Asana or Mavenlink/Kantata)

ROLE SUMMARY

Our client is seeking a Technical Project Manager with a cybersecurity and risk management background to lead and oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of cybersecurity projects. This role will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with security regulations and client needs. They will collaborate with cybersecurity engineers, compliance experts, and external clients to deliver tailored security solutions.

WORK SCHEDULE: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (12:00 AM – 9:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Lead end-to-end management of cybersecurity and risk management projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and budgets
• Work with internal teams and external clients to define project objectives, deliverables, and security requirements
• Manage project schedules, resources, and tasks using project management methodologies, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of cybersecurity services
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales and the technical advisory and consulting team to execute projects aligned with security best practices
• Ensure projects comply with cybersecurity frameworks and regulations, such as PCI, SOC 2, NIST, PCI DSS, HIPAA/HITRUST, and ISO 27001
• Identify potential security risks and collaborate with technical teams to develop mitigation strategies
• Prepare and present project status updates and risk assessments to both internal stakeholders and external clients
• Act as the main point of contact for client engagements, addressing their cybersecurity needs and concerns throughout the project lifecycle

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in technical project management
• Cybersecurity or Information Security experience is a plus
• Certifications (preferred): PMP, CISM, CISSP, or similar project management and security certifications
• Experience in project management software; experience with Asana or Mavenlink/Kantata a plus
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Experience in a multi-client environment
• Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
• Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
