Job Description

We’re looking for a Team Lead to join our team at MBPS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting and Monitoring:
    • Directly report all matters to the Manager of the Testing Center of Excellence (CoE).
    • Monitor the implementation of the approved Test Plan, ensuring:
      • Kick-off testing notices are sent to local business units as scheduled.
      • Testing activities occur within the designated testing period.
      • Any issues or delays are promptly addressed and communicated to the Tower Lead of ICS Testing.
      • Testing activities are completed by the planned completion dates.
      • Progress updates on the Test Plan implementation and testing activities are provided.
      • Final reports and working papers are securely stored and accessible for audit purposes.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure high-quality test results by:
      • Reviewing technical aspects of AML/ATF and FATCA-CRS QA.
      • Considering regulatory examination and audit reports before testing.
      • Aligning testing activities and results with the scope and objectives.
      • Reviewing and discussing reports with the team, including the Team Lead of ICS Canada Testing.
      • Assisting in driving and monitoring team productivity and efficiency.
  • Resolution and Improvement:
    • Assist in tracking the resolution of outstanding observations by obtaining updates from local business units on their remedial actions.
    • Lead or assist in process improvement projects/initiatives.
    • Motivate team members to take bold steps towards achieving better outcomes.
  • Performance and Accountability:
    • Support Managers in driving team performance to excel through development actions.
    • Assist the Team Lead/Manager in reviewing work and final reports prior to release, ensuring timely delivery.
    • Handle assigned tasks and ad-hoc requests with accountability, adhering to the QA plan.
    • Participate in decision-making, providing advice and recommendations to stakeholders based on data.
  • Training and Development:
    • Conduct training sessions for new hires and facilitate skill development.
