Responsibilities

  • Manages small to medium operation with single to multiple units.
  • Works independently on moderately complex issues and projects. Manages ongoing processing efforts and is accountable to manager for unit budget.
  • Help oversee operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities of improvement or revision. Anticipates and tracks operational and tactical risks and providing -strategic solutions. Helps manage day to day business of the operations department while balancing the responsibilities of various business lines such as business analysis, vendor, and risk management. Assists in long-term planning, project status reporting, and implementing change control processes.
  • Assist in hiring
  • Lead transition planning for new process or business

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of operations experience
  • 2+ year of leadership experience in an operations environment
  • Healthcare/insurance background is an advantage
  • Must have back office experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Performance management & Discipline management
  • Very good communication skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to accept & apply feedback
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy, pay strict attention to detail, maintain confidentiality, and work within the grey
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, problem solving, decision-making, and multi-tasking skills
  • Computer skills and typing proficiency - Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel experience is preferred
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment
