As an Accounts Receivable Team Lead, you will oversee accounts receivable operations across the EMEA region. Your responsibilities will include creating invoices, managing collections, and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and the sales team. In addition, you will guide team workflows, oversee payment processes, and share best practices to support Lightspeed’s hospitality product.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and support a small team, acting as a point of escalation for complex billing and collection issues while ensuring smooth daily operations
• Oversee the monthly billing cycle, preparing and distributing accurate statements and addressing inquiries from Sales and customers
• Manage collections through reminder emails, outbound calls, and maintaining professional client communication on account status
• Apply and reconcile wire payments, resolving unapplied payments and discrepancies promptly
• Partner with Finance, Sales, and Support teams to ensure accurate reconciliation and continuous process improvement
  
  
  

What You Need To Bring

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

• Proven experience in billing, collections, or accounts receivable
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel is essential
• Familiarity with billing or finance platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, or Zendesk is a bonus, but not needed
