Tax & Data Specialist - REMOTE

About our client:

An all-encompassing real estate firm located in Farmington Hills, MI, specializing in assessing, analyzing, managing, and disposition of Manufactured Housing Communities. We provide full-spectrum services to various clients, including private owners, banks, local and national special servicers, and court-appointed Receivers.

This position is remote but exclusive to candidates residing in Metro Manila

Activities:

• Assisting our tax team as well as being a data specialist for our Rent Manager software.
• Organizing, auditing and analyzing large records of data.
• Searching county websites for tax bills, making critical thinking decisions. Each tax file could contain from 50 to 300 records in one batch.
• Audit lists of tenants and their charges against leases.
• Identify missing or inconsistent data.
• Understand more complex situations of rent charge discrepancies and correct tenant data. At one time, each property could contain upwards of 100 tenant records.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Standard time: 09:30 pm to 6:30 am Manila time.
• Daylight saving: 08:30 pm to 5:30 am Manila time.

MIN REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor in business administration, accounting, or any other finance-related degree.
• Around 2 or more years of experience with a similar position (auditing, tax filling, process auditor, etc).
• Strong accounting background.
• Experience with US tax is a plus
• Highly proficient with EXCEL and MS Office, as well as strong computer and analytical skills.
