Role: Tax Compliance Specialist

Work Arrangement: Work from Home

Location: Philippines - Any CS Branch (Makati/Ortigas/Pampanga/Cebu/Tarlac)

Schedule: Night shift

Job description:

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Process tax payments on behalf of clients
• Compliance responsibilities include: Entity formation, dissolutions and maintenance, change of entity type, SOS filings, and any other compliance work as needed.
• Compliance tax filings. Filing of sales tax and cannabis excise with CDTFA reporting.
• Setting up CDTFA access for Clients. Local tax filings as needed. Thorough work paper documentation for each filing.
• Communication with taxing agencies on client’s behalf.
• Client education with regards to state and local tax compliance
• Any other administrative, compliance, or tax work as required by firm or managers.

Qualification and requirements:

• 3-5+ years SOS filings, sales tax filing, and CDTFA reporting experience
• Some knowledge of tax laws, regulations and deadlines
• Some knowledge of accounting and tax in cannabis industry
• Solution-oriented; problem-solver.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Great organization and time management skills
• High level attention to detail. Excel intermediate
