WHAT IS THE JOB LIKE?
- Certified Public Accountant with at least 5 years experience in Tax (better if from Big 4 Firms)
- Preferably with Transfer Pricing experience
- Assist the Tax Advisory Head in identifying tax saving opportunities for the Group and assist in the execution of the same (M&As, Projects with incentives);
- Assist the Tax Advisory Head in the execution of tax planning projects (documentation for SEC and BIR Ruling)
- Assist Tax Advisory Head in assisting BUs in the exercise of Administrative and Judicial Remedies relative to BIR audit (e.g. protest preparation and CTA cases assistance)
- Conduct research and in consultation with the Tax Advisory Head render tax opinions/ assistance on various tax issues of different departments/ BUs as well as contract reviews especially on their tax implications
- Provide timely updates to the Group on the new tax regulations, tax rulings, court decisions and relevant issuances
- Conduct Tax Health assessment of the BUs
- Liaise with government agencies and other bodies on tax matters and tax projects
- Conduct tax trainings within the Group
- Other responsibilities that may be assigned
