Tax Accountant

The Tax Department within Vestas is responsible for local compliance on a country-by-country basis while following the Group Tax guidelines.

Group Finance > Group Tax > Regional Tax APAC

Responsibilities

• VAT: calculate, check documentation, get approval, and declare at required intervals in a timely manner
• Local WHT: calculate, check documentation, get approval, and declare at required intervals in a timely manner
• WHT for foreign Service payment: calculate, check documentation, get approval, and declare at required intervals in a timely manner
• CIT: calculate, check documentation, get approval, and declare at required intervals in a timely manner
• Audit & Tax audit: help in resolving audit & tax audit queries
• VAT reconciliation: Update the VAT reconciliation on a monthly basis as per Vestas SOP and make required entries in SAP
• VAT provision: Calculate the VAT provision on a quarterly basis as per Vestas SOP
• Calculate month-end accruals for CIT
• WHT training for Supply Chain: Provide training to Buyers about foreign WHT & how best we can contract to be compliant with WHT payments
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum of 5-10 years relevant experience with foreign manufacturing companies
• Fluent in English
• Familiar with accounting software (SAP) and Excel
• Tax experience, especially for local tax, tax refund, and withholding tax
