TANKER MECHANIC

About the role

As a TANKER MECHANIC at Mardas Corporation, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the company's fleet of tanker trucks. This is a full-time role based in Bacolod City Negros Occidental, and you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our road transport business.

What you'll be doing

• Performing regular inspections and maintenance on tanker trucks to identify and address any issues or wear and tear
• Carrying out repairs to tanker trucks, including replacing parts and components as needed
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical problems, and implementing effective solutions
• Ensuring all tanker trucks are in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance and repair work carried out
• Collaborating with the wider operations team to optimise the performance and efficiency of the tanker fleet

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a commercial vehicle mechanic, with a specific focus on tanker trucks
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of tanker truck systems and components
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
