Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts evaluations to assess the value of different jobs within the organization.
  • Develops and maintains a salary structure that aligns with industry standards and organizational goals.
  • Collaborates with department heads to ensure job descriptions align with departmental needs.
  • Designs and implements reward programs to motivate and retain employees.
  • Manages the administration of reward programs, including bonuses, incentives, and recognition programs.
  • Develops and implements recruitment strategies based on competency frameworks.
  • Assesses employees' competencies through various methods such as performance reviews, assessments, and feedback.
  • Conducts Training Needs Identification and Analysis (TNIA) to identify skill gaps and training requirements within the organization.
  • Designs and develops comprehensive training programs and materials, including instructor-led training, e-learning modules, videos, job aids, and other resources aimed at enhancing employee competencies.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Delivers training sessions to employees using a variety of delivery methods, such as classroom training, virtual sessions, workshops, and webinars.
  • Utilizes instructional design methodologies to create engaging and interactive training experiences.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback surveys, and other evaluation methods.
  • Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and make recommendations for enhancing training initiatives.
  • Maintains and updates training records, attendance, and other training-related documentation.
  • Conducts research and recommends external training resources, vendors, and partnerships as needed.
  • Collaborates with HRAD team members and Department Heads to identify career development opportunities and create individual employee development plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Development Management, Education, Organizational Psychology
  • At least 5 year(s) of work experience as a Training and Organizational Development Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs across various formats (e.g., classroom, virtual, e-learning).
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
  • Proficiency analytical skills to assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Creative and innovative thinking to develop engaging and impactful training materials.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
