Job Summary:

In this hands-on role, you will be a team player responsible for facilitating effective staffing for our fast paced organization. Providing exemplary customer service and other HR administrative activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 70% TA Operations duties, and 30% recruiting activities.
  • Performs a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of personnel records and reports.
  • Provides administrative support to the human resources function in the areas of HRIS/compensation/benefits and or staffing/employment.
  • Processes various forms related to documenting human resources activities such as new-hire, change-of-status, performance evaluations, benefits, terminations, etc.
  • Processes staffing reports via our HRIS/ATS.
  • Interacts with and supplies information to job applicants, employees, department heads, and public and private agencies.
  • Provides clerical and operational support to other human resource staff.
  • Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and information.
  • Manages the requisition initiations for all North American UCT sites within the HRIS system.
  • Confidential data entry such as entering new hires into ADP HRIS (HRIS subject to change).
  • Works on special projects in support of the Staffing organization.
  • Trains new employees as required on self-service HR tools.
  • Assists with audit and reporting of site staffing programs.
  • Maintains employee hardcopy files. Inputs employee personal data into human resources information/computer system (HRIS) database.
  • Provides information to employees on matters pertaining to their personal employee information.
  • Assists with recruiting such as sourcing resumes, phone screens, and interview scheduling.
  • Assisting with hiring activities from sourcing, interviewing and extending offers to selected candidates.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to build strong partnerships with line managers.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office suite, particularly Excel) with some HRIS exposure
  • Attention to detail and exceptional follow-up skills.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

Experience Requirement:

Work Experience:

  • At least 3 years of work experience in a Talent Acquisition or Human Resources support position.

Environmental Exposure:

  • Required to wear personal protective equipment where applicable.
  • Subject to frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to talk on phone and use computer for extended periods of time may be required.
  • May involve exposure to moderate noise levels from printers, faxes, computers etc.

Travel:

  • Work may require out of town travel depending upon assignment (training and meeting). 15%
  • Local travel to various worksites is required.
