Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the company’s virtualization environment, storages, and servers.
  • Manages the data center hardware, software, and equipment such as air conditioning system, UPS, and fire suppression system.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and reviewing the server logs.
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware and operating system upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk space as required.
  • Performs troubleshooting as required. As such, leads problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations.
  • Stays current with new technologies relevant to this job function.


Qualifications:

  • Must have a college degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, or any Information Technology related field.
  • Must have advanced working experience in managing On-premises systems and cloud-based technology.
  • Must have experience in managing and maintaining Data Center operations.
  • Must have minimum of 3 years of intense, hands-on system administration experience.
  • In depth knowledge and experience with Windows/Linux & Unix Server installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge and experience in Citrix & VMWare implementation and management.
  • Knowledge and experience in Active Directory and MS Exchange
  • Microsoft and ITL Foundation certification is an advantage.
  • Cloud computing certification (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.


Note: This position is for an Individual Contributor and will be based in Pasay City, Metro Manila but currently follows a hybrid workplace flexibility arrangement.
