Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled IT professional with extensive experience in managing and supporting enterprise cloud computing environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating systems and applications, specifically within client Cloud Service Providers, Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
What Will You Do
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration and reliable operation of all computer systems, servers and network infrastructure.
- Installs hardware, software, and participates in research and development to continuously improve and keep up with the IT business needs of the organization
- Actively resolves problems and issues with computers, users, server/cloud systems and network infrastructure to limit work disruptions within the company
- Triage high-visibility incidents and report findings to Incident Response Lead
- Work closely with the Incident Response Lead to resolve cyber related issues, by providing detailed explanations of the incidents and necessary remediations
- Assist in the monitoring of a SIEM (Alienvault), EDR (SentinelOne) and Email Security System (Checkpoint)
- Oversee remediation activities related to exploited system security vulnerabilities
- Provides level two and level three support for end user issues.
- Completes all other IT related tasks to ensure the computing environment operates efficiently and users are productive
- Must have a minimum of 5 years as a Systems Administrator and 2 years in Cyber Security
- Must have experience with implementing, migrating, managing operating systems/applications in an enterprise cloud computing environment.
- Strong working experience with either client Cloud Service Providers, Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Mid-Level experience with O365, Exchange Online, Azure AD and O365 migrations
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server Roles, Exchange, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Group Policies, etc.
- Experience with virtual servers both on premise and cloud. Azure, AWS, Hyper-V, ESXI.
- Demonstrated experience with Windows Desktop Operating Systems including, but not limited to installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of network concepts including TCP/IP, Subnets, VPNs, Routing and Switching.
- Knowledge of Backup Solutions
- Knowledge of MDM solutions including Microsoft Intune and WorkspaceOne UEM.
- Ability to configure, manage and troubleshoot Sonicwall Firewalls
- Strong PowerShell scripting experience is a must
- Microsoft or Amazon cloud certifications are a plus.
- Growing knowledge in VMware environments is a plus.
- Cisco routers, switches and ASA experience a major plus.
- Understanding of basic cyber security principles and practices including 2FA, Least Privilege, Phishing Prevention & Identification, etc.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize correctly.
- Ability to follow written and/or verbal directions
- Must have excellent communication, analytic, problem solving, and customer service skills
- Strong documentation skills are a must
- Amenable to work on-site, graveyard shift.
