Job Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and provide team leadership.
  • Coordinate and allocate responsibilities according to operational needs.
  • Set performance and professional standards for team members through example.
  • Promote a positive work environment to ascertain team performance.
  • Report team member concerns to Senior Management.
  • Inspire, train and counsel team members when deemed necessary, ensuring all sessions are documented accordingly on their respective File.
  • Uphold team members morale, work performance and professionalism by promoting a positive work environment.
  • Analyze, gather, and evaluate the information through available IT system resources.
  • Prompt response to situations discovered through Surveillance and systems.
  • Create Statistics & Reports using the available systems.
  • Sustain and manage workplace records, ensuring reports, log entries, etc. are correct and completed in a timely manner.
  • Dictate operational workflow as per business needs, ensuring camera coverage of required incidents are maintained, incidents are managed and concerned departments and personnel are well informed, and done accurately in a timely manner.
  • Initiate and ensure teams compliance of the Surveillance operating rules and guidelines.
  • Create communications and reports, ensuring they are distributed and filed diligently.
  • Monitor and investigate Casino gaming and cash handling activities using advanced IT systems, in accordance with the operating rules and guidelines.
  • Manage labelling, filing and proper documentation and storage of recording equipment.
  • Evaluate gaming and cash handling activities to ensure compliance of procedures and integrity was assured.
  • Monitor, analyze and review gaming and cash handling activities, including high rollers, count process, point of sale, junket activity, etc.
  • Monitor the integrity of gaming and cash handling functions through observing and reporting procedural violations, reviewing equipment, auditing transactions and table games and EGM hold percentages, etc.
  • Observe, identify and report irregularity, suspicious and illegal activities, ensuring appropriate personnel are informed.
  • Promote good working relationship with colleagues and customers.
  • Ensure necessary information is conveyed properly in a timely manner to relevant customers and team members.
  • Represent the Surveillance department by attending meetings with Gaming and other cash handling departments.
  • Manage OH&S in the Workplace.
  • Ensure safekeeping of all statistical information for the department through checking of logs and recording the information from the logs in the appropriate file.
  • Deal with customer complaints and document the issues and outcomes accurately in a timely manner. Maintain strict confidentiality of information whilst exercising due diligence to prevent disclosure or improper usage.
  • Comply with all company policies, rules, regulations, procedures and departmental code of conduct and work ethics; and to perform all duties in accordance with the highest professional standards at all times.

Qualifications

  • Surveillance Supervisory Level.
  • Casino Game Protection proficiency.
  • Basic statistics & mathematics – Level 12 equivalent.
  • Proven record of professionalism and integrity.
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft office suite.
  • Possess good organizational skills and time management.
  • Good interpersonal skills and always approachable.
  • Good command of both verbal and written English.
  • Keen eye to details.
