Purpose of the Job

  • Responsible for Delivery Assurance Team and its processes related to Material Enablement such as Line Support, Production Readiness WAR (PRW)/Line Planning Board, Day 30 Material Review, and 24 Week Material Review, Unbilled material enablement.
  • Review and release Purchase Orders raised by the Delivery Assurance Team.
  • Assess and process through resolution issues such as but not limited to Pre Delivery Variance, Grief, Action Requests, invoice and stock/delivery mismatches, and defer and cancellation messages
  • Expedite, align and negotiate material and component delivery dates to support operations need dates. Includes approval of early shipment, deferring deliveries and canceling orders whenever necessary.
  • Communicate potential risks at the earliest possible time and recommend mitigating activities to support alignment to material need date.
  • Manage team member’s performance and manage development processes, versatility matrix & training.
  • Lead improvements to the process, perform root cause and corrective actions through Core and other tools.
  • Lead discussions with Seating Sites, Regional buyers and other Collins Aerospace BUs on processes and procedures as well as material enablement.
  • Represents Supply Chain in Tier meetings, Corrective Action Board and other projects and meetings.
  • Lead Tiered Accountability Process, lead clear escalations, perform report outs and KPI review.
  • Other functions that may be assigned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Delivery Assurance Team and Processes
  • Rapid response purchase order release, supplier confirmation, and price variance processing.
  • On time delivery of parts to scheduled need date.
  • Issues resolution including but not limited to AR, Grief, invoice to PO mismatch, and PDVs.
  • Cancel and defer of Orders.
  • Lead Improvements and root cause analysis.
  • Lead sourcing, Work Transfer and Rapid Response
