As a Remote Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of Weir Motion Metrics systems installed at our global customer sites. You will join a cohesive remote support team where your expertise and timely interventions will be key to providing exceptional support to our customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Checking: Responsible for monitoring Motion Metrics systems to make sure all systems are performing as expected.
  • Communication: Maintain effective written and verbal communication with customers, support teams, and other departments to address issues and provide updates.
  • System Analysis: Collect data from systems for performance analysis and identify areas for improvement or issues that require attention.
  • Data record: Maintain detailed records of product data, tickets, and performance reports, ensuring traceability and providing documentation as needed.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of customer support experience in industrial environments, encompassing both pre-sales and post-sales support.
  • Proficiency in English with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Strong technical skills in networking, Office suite, Windows & Linux OS, and familiarity with databases, server tools, and cloud services.
  • Ability to analyze technical documents, solve problems under pressure, and collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
