About This Role:
We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Operations Manager to support one of our trusted clients during a key paternity leave coverage period. This project-based, 4–6 month contract role is a great opportunity to work closely with a values-driven wellness brand. If you thrive in planning, purchasing, and inventory workflows—especially in more complex operational environments—you’ll make a real impact while enjoying a fully remote setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee supply planning processes (raw materials, packaging, production, and assembly builds)
- Maintain and update Excel-based inventory and supply planning trackers
- Conduct end-of-month inventory reconciliations across warehouses and suppliers
- Coordinate pick-up requests with the Logistics team
- Assist in managing forecast vs. inventory reports
- Raise purchase orders via NetSuite
- Process item receipts and monitor supplier deliveries
- Manage assembly build processes in ERP
- Support data updates and process improvements in inventory systems
- Communicate regularly with cross-functional teams for operational alignment
Software/Platforms/Tools:
- NetSuite (ERP)
- Microsoft Excel (INDEX, VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Slack
- Google Workspace
- Project Management Tools
Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years of freelancing experience
- Proven experience in supply chain or operations management
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and supply planning
- Comfortable working with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite)
- Proficient in Excel formulas and data handling
- Familiar with coordinating across logistics and supplier networks
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and proactive in problem-solving
- Able to work with partial overlap in Australian time zones
Shift Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM AEST (Sydney time)
