As a member of the Manila Finance and Accounting Hub organization, the Supplier Records Sr. Supervisor is accountable for delivering efficient and effective Supplier Records operations to high quality standards that meet or exceed key objectives. The role is assigned and responsible for managing the effective delivery of the end-to-end Supplier Records process within RELX workstreams including both internal and external stakeholders. The Supervisor is accountable for ensuring the data integrity across RELX supplier base.
The Supplier Records Sr. Supervisor is accountable for driving strategic thinking within the operation underpinned by industry leading practices, key trends and seen as the thought leader around master data governance, maintenance and management. The Supplier Records Sr. Supervisor will work closely with Manager, Director and RELX Business Areas Global Process Owners to assure consistency and standardization of processes, procedures and system functionality across all Business divisions. The role is responsible in influencing internal stakeholders in the adoption of process changes – not just only within the operational team but within Business Areas globally.
The Supplier Records Sr. Supervisor is responsible for translating the expertise and thought leadership into results by driving the Supplier Records team, to first quartile (both cost and quality) through seeking and implementing an environment for improvements in efficiency, effectiveness and quality of service across Supplier Records process as well as contributing to the whole end-to-end S2P process.
The supervisor is also required to mentor & train team members by providing clear leadership, communication and direction. Responsible for yearly target setting and evaluation of the EPs.
Accountabilities
The S2P tower, particularly the Supplier Records team, is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective processing of purchase transactions particularly the ownership of the supplier records/data operations, that ultimately contributes to the reconciliation and accuracy of all the S2P accounting transactions. The Supplier Records team is accountable for delivering functional and robust supplier records operations across RELX Business workstreams. Further, the Supplier Records Sr. Supervisor III works with Suppliers to ensure effective roll-out of process improvements such as, but not limited to, e-invoicing, etc.

Qualifications
- Bachelors level, preferably in accountancy
- Minimum of 7+ years Supplier Records experience
- Accountancy skills, advanced skills on Accounts Payable processes and banking, basic understanding of procurement matters such as Supplier registration and catalogue management, finance systems literate
- Experience in medium to large company environment
- Experience with major enterprise accounting systems such as Oracle, SAP or PeopleSoft.
