Your Role

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform general Revit modeling and drafting for building structure projects, supporting BG&E drafting teams in Australia, the UK, and New Zealand.
• Draft marked-up drawings and prepare them for submission, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Check and manage drawing sets, ensuring consistency and quality across deliverables.
• Adhere to BG&E drafting standards to maintain a high level of quality and professionalism.
• Work on Autodesk BIM360 and other cloud collaboration platforms for efficient project delivery.
• Collaborate with the local drafting team lead to achieve project goals.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in Revit and structural drafting, demonstrating expertise in both areas.
• Strong knowledge of Revit families and drawing templates for efficient modeling and documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) for reporting and communication.
• Familiarity with Dynamo scripting is beneficial but not mandatory.
• AutoCAD experience is not a requirement for this role.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in a drafting role with an engineering consultancy is highly desirable but not essential.
• 4+ years of hands-on Revit experience, particularly in structural drafting.
• At least 4+ years of technical drafting experience in structural engineering projects.
  
  

This role is ideal for a highly skilled and detail-oriented draftsperson passionate about structural engineering and eager to work with a globally distributed team to deliver exceptional results.
