Position: Structural Drafter

Job Responsibilities:
- General Revit modelling and drafting for building structure projects assisting BG&E drafting teams from Australia, UK and NZ.
- Drafting of marked up drawings and preparing drawings for submission.
- Check and manage drawing sets
- Work to BG&E drafting standards
- Working off Autodesk BIM360 and other cloud platforms.
- Work alongside local drafting team lead
- 4 years plus Revit and structural drafting experience in both areas.
- Working knowledge of revit families and drawing templates.
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft office suites
- Dynamo experience beneficial but not critical
- Autocad experience does not carry any weight.
- Strong communication skills in English (oral and written)
- Self-motivated
- able to work as part of a team
- able to take responsibility
- can take on constructive criticism and continue to improve to the BG&E way
- dedicated and passionate about doing quality work.
- Time and effort management qualities.
- Willing to go above and beyond when required.
- High attention to detail
- Willingness to work in the morning shift following Australian/NZ time zones if required.
- Previously worked for another engineering consultancy in a drafting role preferred but not necessary
- 4 years + of Revit experience
- 4 years + of drafting technical experience in Structural Engineering.
