Job Overview

  • Led sourcing and contracting for indirect procurement of products and services at the Philippines plant.
  • Managed the sourcing process for all indirect procurement categories in the Philippines plant.
  • Led key procurement projects within the plant.
  • Developed local suppliers in the Philippines and drove supplier base consolidation.
  • Implemented process improvements to enhance efficiency in the Philippines plant.
  • Acted as the indirect procurement process owner, managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Collaborated with regional commodity managers and reported to the sub-regional procurement manager on strategy, key expenditures, and processes.
  • Oversaw a team in Malaysia while supporting indirect sourcing initiatives in the Philippines as needed.

What Your Background Should Look Like

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Engineering.
  • At least 8 years of experience in indirect procurement, with mandatory experience in a manufacturing company.
  • Proven expertise in managing at least two commodity categories, such as MRO, Facilities, Automation Lines, or HR Services; experience in automation or facilities is highly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a candid and transparent approach.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Capable of working in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to work independently as an indirect procurement representative.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English at a negotiation level; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
  • Demonstrates integrity, accountability, teamwork, and innovation.
  • Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.
