Job Overview

Skilled in supplier management, from onboarding and performance evaluation to building strong partnerships that enhance cost, lead time, and efficiency. Experienced in cost analysis and negotiation, driving savings through competitive sourcing and collaboration with finance. Works cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing to align suppliers with technical and quality standards, supporting new product development. Proactively mitigates supply chain risks and optimizes sourcing strategies. Ensures compliance with policies and maintains thorough documentation. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis, reporting, and impactful presentations.

What Your Background Should Look Like

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier management (preferably in automotive, electronics, or manufacturing industries).
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Experience in working with SAP systems and sourcing tools.
• Knowledge of supplier qualification processes, cost analysis, and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with global sourcing and supplier development. Mechanical commodities include Molding, Metals, Electronics Include, PCB , CBA and Cables
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other supply chain optimization methodologies.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management (APICS, CPSM, or equivalent) is a plus
