As a Stockman, your main responsibility will be to manage inventory in our retail store. You will receive and inspect incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality. Organizing products in storage areas, restocking shelves, and maintaining product rotation will be essential in presenting a visually appealing store layout.

Main Responsibilities & Duties

  • Receiving and unpacking deliveries, checking for accuracy and quality
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory in storage areas
  • Restocking shelves with products and ensuring proper product rotation
  • Assisting in conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies
  • Maintaining a clean and organized stockroom or warehouse space

Qualifications & Skills

  • Highly experienced in stock inventory management
  • Prior experience in wholesale & retail would be advantageous
  • Strong organizational skills for inventory management and stock control
  • Attention to detail in receiving, sorting, and storing products
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking
  • Knowledge of safety procedures in handling and storing products
  • Reasonable fitness level
  • The ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent service
