Responsibilities:

• Manages team of primarily entry and intermediate professionals or supervisors of warehouse and logistics employees, with flexibility to determine how assignments are completed (e.g., objectives and approaches to completing work).
• Sets day-to-day warehouse operation goals and objectives for team members including receiving, put away, storage, issuing, shipping and inventory control.
• Guides materials management activities to ensure materials are effectively stocked and deployed.
• Implement and improve standard operating procedures to regulatory, health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Trains direct reports to ensure policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed.
• Audits material handling process and inventory levels to ensure availability of materials.
• Troubleshoots and reconciles large discrepancies to ensure compliance of standards to ensure effective materials management and smooth logistics deployment.
• Drives improvement and corrective action process for warehouse related opportunities.
• Ensures efficient space utilization and warehouse layout.
• Plan for future storage capacity and resource needs.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years of leadership experience, or Advanced Degree in a related field and 5 years of combined relevant and leadership experience.
• Proven experience as Warehouse Leader in a factory or industrial setting.
• Well-versed in SAP specifically in its application to Inventory Management (MM-IM Module).
• Strong Leadership, team management and problem-solving skills
