This Role in a Nutshell:

At Safeguard Global Accounting Services & Client Delivery is at the core of our Global Outsourcing business’ ability to provide superior accounting services to our clients. The Accounting Services team supports Safeguard Global expansion and mission to support our client’s global growth ambitions, through provision of superior service to Safeguard’s clients.

The Manager, Accounting Services is accountable for developing and running a profitable business unit in the Accounting Services Organization. The Senior Manager is responsible for the delivery of world class customer service on a range of our global engagements. Through effective leadership and highly skilled teams, deliver best in class measures of efficiency and return on investment. Provide significant thought leadership on business development and contribute significantly toward our growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading a team of managers / managers to deliver financial operations, including cash-flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Effective management of P&L
  • Delivering on internal KPIs
  • Create & Drive Customer Service Improvement Plans
  • Networking (internal & External) to help build our brand
  • Day to Day people & Performance Management
  • Significant input to the ongoing development of our Services Portfolio
  • Significant value-add contribution to ongoing leadership and management teams dialogue.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant and / or Postgraduate typically in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge & experience of client service delivery principles
  • Significant experience in auditing principles, regulatory requirements, risk management, and process improvement, managing teams, and extensive client communications.
  • 10+ years’ experience of accounting, auditing, bookkeeping, compliance activities. (or equivalent industry experience)
  • Extensive experience of successful client service delivery
  • Significant experience of leading / managing internationally dispersed teams.
  • Should have experience in specific industries, which can be crucial for specialized financial reporting and compliance.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of organization changes and its impact on performance.
