We are looking for a skilled SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MS SQL and data engineering solutions. As an SQL DBA, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our data systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable solutions using the MS SQL platform.
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines in MS SQL to ensure smooth data flow and management.
- Ensure data pipelines are scalable, reliable, and capable of handling large-scale data operations.
- Design and implement data warehouse solutions using MS SQL to meet business requirements.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of data pipelines to ensure operational efficiency.
- Implement data documentation standards, ensuring compliance with privacy and security best practices.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining security throughout data processes.
- Proficiency in MS SQL and SQL Server database management.
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of data warehouse design and implementation using MS SQL.
- Familiarity with monitoring and troubleshooting data pipeline performance issues.
- Strong understanding of data privacy, security practices, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of other database platforms such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with cloud-based data solutions such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
