Role Overview

The Specialist, Compensation role primarily focuses on handling internal employee movements, salary and information changes, salary recommendations and compensation data management within the HR system. This role ensures the accuracy and efficiency of data input and maintenance for compensation records.

Specific Duties And Responsibilities

  • Process salary and information change for all support employee movements within the HR System
  • Process employee movement letters (PAN) for internal hires
  • Handle ticket management in relation to compensation requests
  • Perform audit checks for all salaries of employees
  • Assist in processing new hire salary recommendations
  • Maintain data integrity in all Compensation systems and trackers by ensuring accuracy of inputs and information
  • Process weekly and monthly Compensation updates and reports.
  • Process payroll requirements on a bi-monthly basis
  • Process Certificates of Employment (with compensation)
  • Assist in processing and releasing of merit increases and bonuses across the organization as necessary
  • Act as back-up POC for agent employee movements as necessary
  • Assess and recommend improvements on current procedures.
  • Maintain and organize files, reports, and other documents.
  • Coordinate regularly with various groups within the organization.
  • Safekeep all information, data, and accesses with strict confidentiality.
  • Ad-hoc tasks, as required

COMPETENCIES

Core Competencies (Must-have Competencies)

  • Proficient at Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in any HRIS tools
  • Experience in processing merit increases, employee movements and bonus payouts
  • Ability to handle confidential data and information
  • Must be extremely organized and able to multi-task in a very fast paced environment
  • Must have keen attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills
  • Good stakeholder communication and consultation)
  • Ability to analyze, resolve issues and escalate as needed
  • Good understanding and knowledge of the Labor and pay regulations

Nice to Have

  • Experience with salary / market benchmarking a plus

Qualifications

Professional Qualification/s

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Administration or Finance
  • 2-3 years experience in Compensation or total rewards preferably in a BPO industry

Work Conditions

  • Willing to work full-time, primarily daytime hours in a 24/7 operation (possible evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required, depending on peak periods)
  • Willing to work 5 days a week onsite
  • Site Assignment: Taytay, Rizal
  • Work Schedule: 1pm-10pm
  • May be required to travel to sites based on business requirements
