About the role


The Warehouse & Distribution Coordinator ensures smooth SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) processes across the supply chain. This role involves accurate planning, execution, and monitoring of transportation activities, maintaining compliance with internal controls, and enhancing logistics visibility. Additionally, the coordinator supports key users and stakeholders across various business units to streamline operations and improve efficiency.


What you will be doing


  • Create and maintain Freight Units and Freight Orders in SAP TM for inbound and outbound deliveries.
  • Ensure correct integration between SAP TM and related modules (MM, SD, EWM, GTS, FI).
  • Coordinate transport planning including route determination, mode selection, and carrier assignment.
  • Monitor transport execution and event management (SAP EM), ensuring timely updates and resolution of deviations.
  • Generate and validate transportation cost documents for freight settlement and billing.
  • Support master data maintenance related to transportation lanes, carriers, rates, and zones.
  • Provide training and functional support to end users and key users in SAP TM processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Procurement, Supply Planning, Warehousing, Customer Service) to align transport execution.
  • Assist in testing and deployment of SAP TM enhancements and new functionalities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and control requirements during transportation processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of SAP TM operations through KPI analysis and feedback implementation.


What you will bring


  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Solid understanding of SAP TM modules and integration with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience with transport planning, freight order management, and carrier collaboration.
  • Familiarity with SAP Event Management and freight settlement processes.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, transportation regulations, and logistics execution.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and process optimization mindset.
  • Ability to provide system support and conduct user training effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Willing to work on a mid-shift schedule.
