Role Overview

• Manages sourcing of finished goods in-line with the strategic direction of the company.
• Spearheads discussions with potential suppliers regarding the new business opportunity and requirements
• Prepares cost and risk assessments to identify points that will significantly impact the product being developed
• Delivers on-time requested samples/prototypes
• Ensures on-time delivery of products based on agreed timeline
• Negotiates with supplier based on the appropriate specifications by striking a balance between company requirement vis-à-vis industry standard
• Prepares presentations for Technical Council's approval and recommendations on supply concerns
• Conducts strategic capacity reviews on suppliers
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 4-year course in Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a professional setting.
• With solid understanding of basic financial principles and practices.
