  1. Lead development of platform and its integration between different development tools.
  2. Drive collaboration between Platform Engineering and other engineering teams for continuous improvement on workflows.
  3. Provide insights on automations that can improve development processes.
  4. Lead solutioning for cross cutting concerns of engineering teams.
  5. Lead POC initiatives to discover new technologies or tools that can improve the platform.
  6. Identify and troubleshoot issues in production environments and provide timely resolution.
  7. Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  8. Research and develop using new and emerging technologies, tech stack, and trends in platform engineering.


DISPLAYED SKILL MASTERY

  1. Java/Go
  2. AWS (or other cloud providers)
  3. Containerization
  4. CICD Pipelines


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor’s degree
  2. 10+ years of experience in Java development or other similar language.
  3. 3+ years of experience as a technical leader in a software engineering team.
  4. Experience with DevOps.
  5. Familiarity with different architecture patterns (EDA, Microservice design patterns, CQRS, etc).
  6. Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including microservices architecture, containerization, and serverless computing.
  7. Experience with cloud-native application development using tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
  8. Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  10. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
