BluChaos is seeking a talented Software Engineer II to join our Engineering team and contribute to the design and development of scalable software solutions. This role is ideal for someone with experience in backend development who’s ready to take on new challenges, lead projects, and enhance their skills in a supportive and innovative environment.

• Architect and implement backend infrastructure to support high-traffic and high-volume applications, focusing on performance and scalability.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across various systems.
• Utilize containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD practices to enhance deployment efficiency and reliability.
• Integrate backend and frontend applications using robust APIs, maintaining consistency across different layers of the product.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the team’s best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify technical requirements and provide backend solutions that align with project goals.
• Assist in system design, contribute to technical documentation, and participate in testing and debugging sessions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in backend development
• Expertise in Node.js, Deno, PHP, SQL/NoSQL, ORM, Git, Containers, and CI/CD
• Proficiency with APIs, protocols, clients, servers, and CDN integration
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Be able to work with clients to define detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Willing to work in Shaw, Mandaluyong
