Our tech platform connects 3000 tutors/mentors to students aiming to achieve admission and scholarships to top universities or their dream career pathway.

To support our students, we have built / purpose of role

This is a full-time position, that can be worked remotely or in one of our many offices around the globe.

What are the main responsibilities for this role?

• Collaborate with the team across different timezones to maintain and develop new features for the marketing website.
• Build responsive web interfaces using React and TypeScript to display marketing content and upcoming events for students and parents.
• Capture leads information and integrate them with our marketing automation platform (Marketo).
• Develop online tools and calculators based on users input and provide customized results.
• Show interest in learning and contributing to our backend.
• Contribute to the ongoing optimisation of SEO and website performance to boost traffic.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices to maintain code quality.
• Diagnose and resolve software defects and issues.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams across different timezones to understand and meet project requirements.
  
  

What skills and experience are required?

• 2+ years of experience of full-stack web development experience in a commercial setting.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NextJS, GatsbyJS.
• Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS (Amazon Web Services).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Basic understanding of SEO and interest in learning optimisation techniques.
• Willingness to learn and explore backend technologies (e.g., AWS, Terraform).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
