Overview of the job

The Occupational Health Nurse (OH Nurse) is responsible for providing clinical support and promoting health and safety within our facility. Key responsibilities include facilitating medical monitoring initiatives, leading occupational health programs, assisting with medical claims, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. The OH Nurse plays a vital role in the daily implementation of health initiatives and standards.

Your team

You will report directly to the Site Physician at the Cabuyao Plant and supervise the contractor nurses who staff the Health Services Unit around the clock. In addition to support from the local P&G Medical Team, you will benefit from collaboration with medical teams across other markets, gaining access to extensive resources crucial for developing the capabilities needed to succeed in this role.

• Process Improvement: Able to find opportunities to simplify daily operations and achieve sustbalancedk processes.
• Leadership: Responsible for supervising the work of contractor nurses, encouraging a collaborative environment that ensures high-quality care and efficient operations.
  
  

Job Responsibilities

• Health and Safety:
• Conduct medical monitoring examinations.
• Coordinate medical emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity programs.
• Run processes in compliance with laws and corporate governance.
• Implement daily tasks aligned with Health Systems Key Elements.
  
  

• Clinical:
• Ensure smooth run of clinic operations including accurate management of clinic records, medicines, supplies, and equipment.
• Assist employees in processing their health-related claims and concerns.
  
  

• Business Alignment:
• Work with HR on health and wellbeing initiatives.
• Partner with HSE on medical monitoring and participate in relevant meetings
  
  

• Professional Development:
• Maintain an active nursing license with particular focus on Occupational Health.
• Facilitate First Aider training and engage in professional networks.
  

Job Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in Philippines.
• Completed Basic Occupational Safety and Health course provided by OHNAP or other DOLE-accredited providers
• 2-3 years of shown experience in a clinical setting, preferably within an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of Philippine health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate optimally with complementary teams.
• Good IT skills, preferably proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerBI, KNIME, and/or other reporting platforms.
