Why does this role exist?
This role supports the smooth operation of the client’s Shopify e-commerce store and executive team by managing daily store updates, content audits, and quality assurance testing. The position is essential for maintaining an exceptional online customer experience and operational excellence. The successful candidate will also provide executive support by managing calendars, communications, and project coordination across internal and external teams.
The Impact you’ll make
Executive Support
- Manage executive calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics
- Monitor inboxes and assist with communications and follow-ups
- Prepare meeting notes, presentations, and internal documentation
Shopify Store Management
- Update product pricing, descriptions, and website headers
- Conduct regular content audits and make site-wide copy changes
- Create or modify pages and collections using Shopify’s admin dashboard
Quality Assurance & Testing
- Perform QA checks after product launches, pricing updates, or site changes
- Test customer journeys including add-to-cart, checkout, and confirmation emails
- Identify and escalate bugs or UX/UI issues for resolution
Coordination with Developers and Agencies
- Serve as point of contact for developers, designers, and marketing partners
- Track open projects, requests, and deadlines using tools like Asana, Trello, or Notion
- Document and communicate requirements and QA feedback clearly
General Operations
- Monitor store performance and flag irregularities
- Assist in pulling simple performance reports or customer data
- Help document SOPs and improve internal workflows
Required:
- Minimum 2 years in an executive assistant, e-commerce coordinator, or similar operations role
- Familiarity with Shopify or similar CMS/e-commerce platforms
- Coding experience (basic HTML/CSS preferred)
- Experience in e-commerce management and QA testing of online stores
- Strong organizational and communication skills with high attention to detail
- WFH Set-Up:
- Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
- Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
- Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
- Back-up computer and internet connection
- Quiet, dedicated workspace at home
- Proficiency in Shopify admin dashboard and CMS content management
- Basic coding skills (HTML/CSS) to modify pages and troubleshoot issues
- Knowledge of QA testing methodologies for e-commerce platforms
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for coordinating across teams
- You thrive in fast-paced, remote-friendly environments and can juggle multiple priorities
- You are detail-oriented and committed to delivering flawless customer experiences

Work Setup:
- Remote position
- Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
- Required to provide own computer with Intel Core i5 or something similar or higher operating system
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Central Time
- $8 per hour
- No benefits package included
