About Us

Bridgit is a leading non-bank lender transforming the way Australians access property finance. Purpose-built to make property transactions faster and easier, we pioneered the Buy Now, Sell Later solution – empowering homeowners to unlock their property equity and move on their terms. With a simple digital application, fast approvals, and flexible loan options, we’re making property finance seamless and stress-free.

We’re now four years old and making huge strides. We have accredited over two-thirds of Australia’s broker network, and launched white label solutions with Australia’s largest aggregators – Connective, Aussie Home Loans, Finsure, and Loan Market Group – and we’re just getting started.

Our momentum has been recognised with awards such as Best Growth Story at the 2025 Fintech Awards, 2025 Finder People’s Choice Award for Lending Innovation, the finalist for Excellence in Lending (Business & Consumer) at the 2025 Finnies, Deloitte's tech fast 50 2025 and finally; being recognised as one of LinkedIn’s top 20 Start Up’s in Australia 2025.

The Role

We are looking for a first-class Settlements & Servicing Officer to join the Bridgit team. This role would be suited to someone who is passionate about joining a high-growth start-up in the fintech space, and who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Ensure all supporting documentation has been collected and meets the requirements specified by the Credit Policy
  • Accurately prepare loan documents instructions to be issued to panel lawyers for funding and loan discharges
  • Ensure internal systems and tools are kept up to date with progress throughout the settlements pipeline
  • Check and record the sale status of security properties
  • Liaise with Credit and Sales teams to ensure loans are moved through the pipeline within SLA
  • Support with portfolio monitoring for customer milestones, conducting thorough portfolio reviews to ensure continual progress and timely discharges throughout the journey.
  • Manage servicing tasks related to the lending process, including but not limited to supporting with the collections process, arrears management and statement preparation
  • Manage security packet record keeping for all electronic packets

What we’re looking for:

  • A good understanding of the mortgage loan process from application to repayment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Adherence to relevant compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Someone who thrives working in a fast-paced, agile environment

Ideally you will have:

  • A good understanding of the mortgage loan process from application to repayment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Adherence to relevant compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Someone who thrives working in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • At least 12 month’s experience in a loan admin or settlements role
  • Experience and an understanding of loan servicing and collections is fundamental.
  • Some lived experience in this space, and a good understanding of the mortgage loan process from application to settlement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Tenacious attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • A track record of getting it done. You favour delivery over talk
  • Passion to learn and develop, the drive to get stuck in and own your area of the business
  • Strong organisational skills - you will be managing multiple files, requests and identifying process improvements
  • A friendly, energetic, authentic and helpful approach to your work
